Our 160 years old provencal bastide is ideally located to discover the south of France, especially the Provence and its surroundings. The vacation rental is available on a weekly basis and can accomodates two to four persons.

Discover Mediteranean sea beauties

Some of the most beautiful landscapes can be seen within an hour’s drive from Les Mimosas. A very popular day trip is to Les Calanques. It’s a backpacker’s dream and a target location for scuba divers! However there are boat trips out of the port of Cassis for those who prefer to take it easy. If you like nature discovery in general, a two hour drive will get you to Camargue and its wildlife reserve. It is famous for the rice fields and its marshland where many different types of birds can be seen. A unique way to visit the wildlife reserve is on horseback. Camargue is famous for its beautiful white horses. Even if you are not the most experienced rider you will thoroughly enjoy this excursion.

And the Provence marvels

Day trips inland to the Gorges du Verdon or the Luberon where acres of lavender fields can be seen is a popular choice . The colors are incredibly beautiful not to mention the perfume that fills the air. For those of you who just like to wander through small quaint villages, or even follow the “Route des Vins”, you will certainly have your fill.
